Beef tips & rice

So now that I’m thinking about this, I really want to make it this week. We haven't had it in awhile!

What you’ll need:

1-2 lbs beef tips/stew meat
1 large onion, sliced
1 large green bell pepper, sliced
1 package brown gravy mix
salt & pepper to taste

Cook beef tips until tender in skillet in about an inch of water. Salt and pepper to season. Combine leftover drippings and brown gravy mix and cook until thickened. Add more water if needed. Sauté onions and bell pepper in about a tablespoon of butter and season as well. Serve on top of cooked white rice or egg noodles.

beef tips/stew meat - $2.50
onion - $1.12
bell pepper - $0.90
brown gravy mix - $0.29
egg noodles - $1.89
Total - $6.70
