Grandma's peanut butter cookies

These are so easy to make even the kids will want to help!

What you’ll need:

2 c peanut butter
2 eggs
2 c sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt

Grease your cookie sheets or spray with non stick spray. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix together peanut butter and sugar. Beat your eggs and mix them into the peanut butter/sugar mixture. Stir in baking soda, salt and vanilla. It will be thick. Roll balls out of the dough and put them on the cookie sheet about an inch apart. Using a fork press down on each cookie on the cookie sheet making that familiar set of lines that I associate with peanut butter cookies. Bake for about 10 minutes. Watch them and if they are getting too brown remove them from the oven. Let them cool and you’re done! Very good recipe. Makes about 2 dozen.

Cost:
peanut butter - $1.59
eggs - $1.09/ dozen
sugar - $1.99/4 lb bag
baking soda - $2.28/box
vanilla - $2.25
Total - $2.56
