Home-style pot roast

This is really good to make on a chilly Saturday. Just set it and almost forget it.

What you’ll need:

1 medium sized pot roast or rump roast
2 cans of carrots
2 cans of whole new potatoes
1 pkg brown gravy

Put your roast in a big pot. Season to taste. I use season salt and that’s it. Just cover the pot roast with seasoning. Pour the carrots and potatoes with the juice included over the roast. Fill the pot up with water and let cook over medium heat approximately 4 hours or until the roast falls apart when you try to pick it up with a fork. Add water as it cooks away. Make some brown gravy according to the package directions. Remove the roast, carrots and potatoes from the pot with a slotted spoon & enjoy!

And pot roast sandwiches are awesome the next day if any makes it past the dinner table. I never have leftovers. =)
