Slow baked ham

This was my dad’s recipe.

What you’ll need:

1 large bone in ham
1 can sliced pineapple in syrup
1 small jar whole cherries (optional)
Clove sticks
1 (2 liter) bottle 7-Up
2 c brown sugar

Mix the juice from the pineapples and cherries with the 7-Up. Stir in brown sugar. Use the clove sticks to attach the pineapple slices and cherries to the ham. Pour the 7-Up mixture over the ham and bake @ 250 degrees overnight (or all day) or until done, basting occasionally.

ham - $5.50
pineapple slices - $1.09
cherries - $1.12
cloves - $1.12
7-Up - $0.99
brown sugar - $1.89/ 2 pound bag
Total - $10.02
