Taco soup

Something I'm thinking you'll like.

What you'll need:

1-2 lbs ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
1 med-large onion
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of diced tomatoes (some are *chili ready, good to use*)
3 cans of beans. I like to 2 cans pinto, one can kidney. But if you like black beans, they're good to use as well. Chili beans are also good, they're just seasoned pinto beans.
1 can corn, drained
salt
pepper
garlic powder
hot sauce to taste

Instructions:Brown ground beef and chopped onion. Drain and add taco seasoning. Add all beans, tomatoes, and sauces. Simmer till yummy!

Garnish with shredded cheese, chopped green onions and sour cream. Maybe jalapenos! Serve with tortilla chips, Fritos, or cornbread.

Cost:
ground beef - $2.00/lb
taco seasoning - $0.50
onion - $1.12
tomato sauce - $0.33/can
diced tomatoes - $0.89
beans - $0.89/can
whole kernel corn - $0.40
shredded cheese - cheddar - $1.50
sour cream - $0.99
cornbread mix - $0.29
Total - $11.69
