This recipe came from my Holiday Cookbook from Pillsbury®. They are as delicious as they are beautiful and would make a welcome addition to any holiday package or holiday table!
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Start to Finish: 45 Minutes
Servings: 12 pretzels
What you'll need:
- 6 oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2⁄3 cup finely crushed peppermint candies (24 candies)*
- 12 (8½-inch) pretzel rods (from 11-oz package)
Sprinkle crushed candy over separate sheet of waxed paper. Dip pretzels in almond bark; allow excess to drip off. Roll in crushed candy. Place on cookie sheet Let stand until set, about 30 minutes.
